WELCOME

Hello, my name is Robert E. McCarthy. I am the Register of the Plymouth Probate and Family Court.

The technology of the 21st Century has provided us with a great opportunity to inform the public about the operations of our court.  The internet is one device that can be utilized to provide informational services to attorneys, pro-se litigants and the general public who use this Court.

In this website we are attempting to provide useful information about the Court, its structure, staff and general procedures.  We are also providing our Court scheduling calendars, trial lists and certain forms to assist you.  We hope you will join us as we endeavor to keep all interested persons better informed about the operations of this Court.

This website was started in July, 2001 and has been expanded and revised several times.  Since the inception of the website, we have been surprised and gratified by the large number of visitors to the site as well as by the many helpful comments and suggestions.

We are unable to provide case specific information in the website.  The Massachusetts Trial Court is presently developing a comprehensive computer system, known as Masscourts, for all courts in the Commonwealth.  When completed, Masscourts will provide a state of the art computer system with enhanced capabilities that will benefit users and members of the public.  The Plymouth Probate and Family Court is excited to be part of this innovative project, as we strive to meet your needs.

Please feel free to give us your  ideas to help us better serve  you.   You can e-mail us with suggestions to serve you in a more efficient manner about our operations including this website at any time.
